"As I stand in Tandasana I feel the "Souls" of my feet supported by mother earth, which supports this body in which I live, breathe and honor everyday I am blessed to be on this journey of yoga"
Lynne began her yoga journey nine years ago with the intention of finding a way to unwind after stressful days working as an Emergency Department Nurse. It did not take long for her to realize that yoga was more than just a way to relax. Rather, it's a way to live life authentically. It's not just the practice of Asana (posture), Pranayama (breathwork), and Dhyana (meditation), but a profound Spiritual Journey that continues today.
Lynne found that as a Yoga Teacher, she could share this incredible journey with others. Lynne is a Registered Nurse and finds her years in nursing have greatly enhanced her Yoga Teaching, enabling her to have a valuable understanding of the Mind/Body/Spirit Connection.
She began her training with Darlene Kim Vasquez, CYI. She then became certified in Therapeutic Yoga with Cheri Clampett, CYI and Arturo Peal, CYI at the White Lotus Foundation. Lynne then went on to get her Prenatal Yoga Certification with Janice Clarefield at the Santa Barbara Yoga Center. She has completed her 200 hour Hatha Yoga teacher training at the Moonyeen School of Yoga Health at Yoga Village Studio with Moonyeen Park 500-ERYT and Connie Murphy 500-ERYT. She is presently continuing her studies in the 500-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training. In the Light of Being, Lynne feels blessed to be able to guide her students in classes at Yoga Village.
May your Journey bring you light and peace.
